Some new cabs from us today! These are all good sized for rings, earrings or small pendants or what I call stations in a bracelet! I really liked the green and brown (Raku) one! These are made of glass! In our studio. Check out our beads at http://laurasetsy.etsy.com

Sylvester is a stray kitty. He is very brave, aggresive, and afraid. He, I believe, was never petted as a young kitty. I worked on him for months, before he would let me touch him, he is a tough kitty, hehe, he would fight and jump at every touch. But he learned to trust me. Now he is a pussy cat! hehe, he is so sweet, I have taught him that I will not hurt him, and he lets me pet hiim anywhere, his tummy, neck, back, head, tail, feet. He is learning to be a good kitty. I just gave him his worming pill and I know he appreciates the food. Lucky Kitty! Lucky Me! He is a good pet!View full size

So we are making cabochons now! They are so neat and it is working, this group is the 2nd batch and 3rd batch. We will improve alot over the next few weeks I am sure. We were approached by a company that makes cufflinks, and this is why we started doing these. I think they are going to be helpful for us, and that we will be able to make some money! Let’s HOPE! haha, we are always just barely, but barely, not even barely scrapping by! haha, but I gotta make this work for the girls, they are so wonderful!

(via ballerinaforballers) Is this true? Do people feel insecure like me? Isolated? I am pretty much all alone out here in the middle of no where, I know there are others like me in the world but some seem to really thrive on isolation, while I don’t think I do. Or is this bigger than “personal” feelings? It is an interesting theme. Going to keep thinking about this…. Well yes, people are unpredictable in a predictable way…. Is it? I know I have let go of alot of things recently, I do feel happier and I don’t worry about those “things” like I used to. This might be true. Because I am obsessed with my Etsy stores and how poorly we are doing at the moment. I think and think about this, I study it, I am obsessed, of course part of that is that if I fail, these girls here in Mexico will be out of work. So it is alot of pressure to at least do “ok”….I would settle with that…… Hummm, good things to think about.View full size

Hearts are new to us, overall we have always focused on round beads with loads of detail hehe, but things change sometimes. We now do hearts and we are having a love affair with them (pun intended! hehe) How sweet is that? Gosh….I am pun-acious!? haha anyway, they are so pretty!

Some more of our little bells, these are pendants, but a lovely pendant! They are a tad hard to do, these were our first ones, they have become more complex now, but I don’t think they are any less beautiful. hehe, We have them at http://earringdiva.etsy.com

We make these little bells which are so cool. They are a tad hard to do, but we have been able to figure it out pretty well…..they work a tad, if you use a metal clapper in the middle of it, well it tinkles a tad, not much, it is more a symbolic bell than a practical bell….But you get the idea.
